The Savannah Studio was exactly what we hoped for - clean, just the right size, close to everything, wifi included, and more importantly, pet friendly. Everything with the host, Jerry, was easy and straightforward from start to finish - we did have the pleasure of meeting Jerry, Chris and their adorable pets, LuLu and Gnocchi (though I'm not sure if it is spelled like the Italian pasta?!). The Studio has a great back porch, a fully stocked kitchen, the bed was perfect for the two of us, and the washer/dryer was an added bonus. The parking is free and right out front of the studio. I would highly recommend this place and we plan on going back to Savannah as it is a wonderful, beautiful and friendly city. Oh and definitely try the Green Truck eatery just two blocks away - yummy.

Our group of mothers and daughters had a fabulous weekend at the
house. We loved the fact that we could be together and hang out in
different areas of the house either as a group or small groups. We enjoyed
breakfast out on the deck and on the balconies. We had a full agenda on Saturday
at the Juliette Low House and afterwards dragged the girls to River St. even
though they all wanted to go back to the house. The house is a convenient drive
to River St, less than 10 minutes, and there is plenty of parking around the
house. The owner is very responsive to email/phone and we had great
communication throughout which made the process so smooth and pleasant. The
contract is clear and detailed, and he had a wealth of information for the area:
restaurants, sightseeing, tours, weekend activities, etc. Thanks for sharing
your house with us!!!

It was nice to have take-out menus at our fingertips … we ordered from Smokey Bones Cantina just down the street last night because of the big thunderstorm, and it was awesome! 

Loved everything about our trip, hope to stay there again down the road!

Jerry's studio is perfect! My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend with our dog, Truffles. It was difficult for us to find a place that allows dogs in such short notice so we were beyond happy when we came across this place. We booked the night before, and Jerry was very helpful with answering all of our questions. The studio's size is just right, the bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the outdoor patio area is adorable. The location is walking distance to several restaurants and close to all of our favorite Savannah attractions. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Savannah area, and we will definitely be back in the future!

My Girl Scout troop and several parents (15 people in total) recently stayed at Jerry's home in Savannah. All 15 of us cannot stop talking about how wonderful our trip was. A big part of that is due to the wonderful home we stayed at. Jerry's home is FANTASTIC!

 We had plenty of room to relax, the accommodations were comfortable, and Jerry was a wonderful host. It was great to be able to sleep in comfy beds, spend the entire day out and about exploring all Savannah has to offer, and then come home and relax. The home was large enough that if we needed a quiet place to relax, we could. The mothers in my troop thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning sipping coffee or tea. I don't think I could have found a more perfect place for us to stay.

This house is great. A group of 9 adults stayed comfortably in this beautiful home. It is furnished very nicely with a beautiful kitchen. We ate at a restaurant down the street (Grits and Gravy) the food was good but service was slow. We walked to the Kroger grocery store its a bit of a hike (8--9 blocks). The owner was in contact at all times. He was extremely nice and helpful. The house is kind of a ways from River Street (39 blocks), so plan on taking Cabs.

Response: The Kroger is 8--9 blocks (0.8 miles), and River St. is 39 blocks (2.0 miles). There are several antique shops in our neighborhood within a few blocks each way. There is also a new Sav-A-Lot 4 blocks away. Our guests who don't walk, tell us cabs are about $5 to River St. --Bars, restaurants, and shopping. Broughton St. (one of the main shopping areas with restaurants) is about 36 blocks (1.7 miles). Forsyth Park is about 10 blocks (0.9 miles).
