The house was better than we could have imagined. It was truly a home away from home! It had anything that we could possibly need for our stay and more. Upon arrival, we bought groceries, so to prepare our own meals. My mother in law and I prepared all the meals together and had a great time while bonding. The kids loved the 3rd floor, and the movies were very helpful for them to be able to watch one while drifting off to sleep. Usually the kids can't sleep well while out of town, but they slept just fine and referred to your home as "our other house". My son is autistic and we found if ever he was overwhelmed by guests and being out of town, he could calm down by sitting and listening to the waterfall. It was very soothing and relaxing to him. There were perfect places in the house to take pictures, since it was so windy and cold out. There was plenty of closet space to hang all our belongings. There were plenty of clean linens, which was a relief compared to staying at a hotel and constantly having to ask for more. The overall cleanliness of everything was very satisfactory. We really enjoyed the extras as well, such as the Paula Dean books that we were able to look through. In fact, my mother in law has already sent me an email, talking about coming back in June and definitely staying at your home again. I would highly recommend your accommodations to anyone, and especially those that have a family and would like to have some bonding time together. One of our best memories is everyone sitting in the den in the evenings and talking about our lives and what we had all been up to with work and so forth, while watching movies together. We certainly will be visiting Savannah again soon, and look forward to staying with you.
Thanks again!
